Emma Thomson and Dionne Brown won the February 2023/24 Scottish Women’s Premier League Player of the Month awards, supported by Park’s Motor Group.

Thomson becomes the youngest winner of the award since the new formation of the SWPL. The 16-year-old goalkeeper starred for Hamilton Academical as they climbed off the foot of the table in February with a 2-1 win over Motherwell and a 1-1 draw with Spartans.

While Thomson conceded one goal in both games, she faced a total of 16 shots across the two matches. This included four one-on-one or point-blank saves for her side.

Thomson will next participate in the Scotland WU17 squad that will travel to Poland later this month for the upcoming UEFA Round 2 Tournament.
