#SBSSWPL: Glasgow City net seven but Rangers Women still lead on goal-difference

Glasgow City scored seven but Rangers remain top of the SBS Scottish Women’s Premier League on goal-difference.

Kirsty Howat scored the first and last goals as Rangers put five past Spartans. Zoe Ness, Lizzie Arnott and Clare Gemmell were the others on the score-sheet.

Glasgow City are seven goals behind the leaders despite a 7-0 victory at Forfar, where they hit the crossbar four times before Sharon Wojcik broke the deadlock close to half-time. Ode Fulutudilu struck a hat-trick on her debut, with Nicole Robertson, Julia Molin and Jo Love also on target.

Third-placed Celtic sent Hearts to a 3-0 defeat, with a second half double from Sarah Ewens and the other by Rachel Donaldson.

Hibernian climbed two places back up to fourth when coming from behind to edge Motherwell with the best of five goals. Amy Gallacher and Colette Cavanagh had turned the game round by the break after Abby Callaghan’s opener, Gallacher later getting her second with a free kick.
