Celtic remain within five points of the leading pair, following a 5-1 result at Spartans in which Sarah Teegarden marked her return from a year out through injury with a goal. Chloe Craig scored twice including a penalty, Sarah Ewens and Anna Filbey got the other goals for the Hoops, Spartans’ Alana Marshall pulling one back before the break.

Hearts are off the bottom, at the expense of Motherwell, thanks to the point from the draw with Forfar Farmington.Ā  Monica Forsyth lobbed Hearts ahead from a Murron Cunningham free kick but the visitors grabbed a dramatic last-minute leveller, as goalkeeper Lauren Perry saw her set-piece fly in.
