Reading have brought back former player Charlie Estcourt from Birmingham City and signed Ava Kuyken from Hibernian.

Welsh international Estcourt won the WSL2 with the Royals and went on loan spells to Bristol City and Charlton Athletic, then played for London Bees and Coventry United.

Last season, her 15 appearances for Birmingham City helped them to second place in the Barclays Women’s Championship.

Estcourt told readingfc.co.uk: “This club just feels like home. It was the club that gave me the chance to follow my dream, I’ve had some really special times here, from making my professional debut to from lifting the WSL 2 trophy.

“The club is obviously going through a bit of a transition period now, but I am just so excited to get started and help build a near future at the club.”
