Reading have signed Chelsea’s 23-year-old defender/midfielder Jade Bailey on loan for the rest of the season, reports reading.fawsl.com.
Bailey started her professional footballing career with Arsenal, making a total of 27 appearances for them and was part of the starting line-up for their FA Cup final winning side in 2014.
In 2016, Bailey made the move across London to Chelsea, making 16 appearances in her first season with them.
Her career was put on hold when she suffered an anterior cruciate ligament injury in April 2017, ruling her out of participation in the following season.
