Rangers ran out 4-1 winners over Glasgow City in the ScottishPower Women’s Premier League, Queen’s Park clinched the SWPL 2 championship.

Rangers kept a point ahead of Celtic with defeat of Glasgow City and the Hoops hit five goals at Partick Thistle, two coming from Natasha Flint. Rio Hardy’s penalty for Rangers brought a reply from Lauren Davidson, before Lizzie Arnot, Chelsea Cornet, and Mia McAulay netted for the hosts.
Hearts moved six point ahead of Hibernian with victory in the Edinburgh derby on Friday evening.

Aberdeen, Motherwell and Montrose all won to increase the gap from the bottom three. The Dons edged Hamilton 3-2, Motherwell also had a narrow victory over Dundee United and Montrose took the points 2-1 at Spartans to move six points clear of them.

Queen’s Park are champions after second-placed Kilmarnock’s shock loss to Glasgow Women and the Spiders’ 6-1 win over Stirling University, whom they had trailed to early on.
Livingston cut the gap to the promotion play-off spot down to six points, Boroughmuir jump above St Johnstone, with both sides level on points.
