Dunfermline Athletic made themselves some breathing space in Scottish League Division 1 North, Queens Park had a thrilling 5-4 victory at Blackburn United in the South.
SWFL 1 North – Dunfermline go clear at the top
Dunfermline Athletic went three points clear of Aberdeen at the top of SWFL 1 North by hitting Montrose 6-1.
Deveronvale pulled off a 2-1 win at third-placed East Fife, Cove Rangers cut the gap on the latter as a Lynn Duncan hat-trick was the difference in their 5-2 victory at Raith Rovers.
Wstdyke held mid-table Buchan 1-1 away, while Stonehaven moved within a point of Kelty Hearts after defeating them 2-0.
SWFL 1 South – McKeown is Spiders star
Glasgow City Development’s 10-1 demolition of FC Kilmarnock U-23s included four goals for Taylor Hamill and three from Lucy Sinclair, as they went nine points clear in SWFL 1 South.
Hibernian U-23s were 3-0 winners at Spartans Development, with goals by Cari Johnston, Kelly Aitchison (penalty) and Jamie-Lee Smith putting them two points short of Celtic Academy in second.
Ashley McKeown’s four-goal haul saw Queens Park edge a nine-goal thriller at Blackburn United.
SWFL 2 – Morton win meeting of top two
Edinburgh Caledonia made it nine straight wins in Division 2 South-East/Central by beating Borders 3-1. Morton won the West/South-West top of the table clash with Kilwinning 3-1. Glasgow Girls U-23s are new leaders in West/Central having beaten West Park United 6-1. Dryburgh Athletic have a four-point advantage in North/East having come away from Dunfermline Athletic Development 7-2 winners.
