Pompey have signed a Southampton Saints duo, plus one each from West Ham, Maidenhead and Southampton Women.
Hannah Geer from Southampton Women and capped for English Universities will bolster the backline for Pompey, while Amelia Southgate (ex-Southampton Saints) brings extra competition in midfield.
Up front, manager Jay Sadler has brought in Rachel Panting from Maidenhead and Shannon Albuery (pictured top) from West Ham to strengthen his attacking options.
Sadler said to portsmouthfcladies.co.uk: “I’m really happy with the additions. They’ve hit the ground running over pre-season, portraying a great attitude to learn and develop as players.
“All five offer something different on the pitch and I’m looking forward to seeing each progress in a Portsmouth shirt.”
The quintet are available for the Portsmouth’s first pre-season game, away to Maidstone United on Sunday 16th July at the Gallagher Stadium.
