Dundee United win top of the table clash in the Park’s Motor Group Scottish Women’s Premier League 2.

Dundee United defeated Glasgow Women to open up a six-point gap over their title rivals, while still holding a game in hand. Danni McGinley scored early on and then provided the cross from which Megan Burns’ header forced an own-goal.

St Johnstone recorded a second win of the season, 2-0 away to basement side Queen’s Park. An Ellie Cowie cross led to an own-goal and Morgan Steedman found the net for the visitors.

Boroughmuir Thistle and Stirling University were level at 1-1 at half-time, Elvie McLean scored her second of the game as the visitors led 4-1 but the match was abandoned in the 75th minute due to a serious injury to a Stirling player.
