The penultimate match day of the Scottish Women’s Premier League season saw wins by Celtic, Glasgow City and Hibernian.

Celtic 5-0 Hearts
Glasgow City 4-1 Aberdeen
Hamilton Academical 0-4 Hibernian
Partick Thistle 0-0 Spartans

Aberdeen went in at half-time on level terms with the runners-up, Donna Paterson having cancelled out the opener from Vital Kats. But Grant bagged a second-half brace for Glasgow City, with Lauren Davidson netting in-between.

Celtic put five first-half goals past Hearts, with the prolific Charlie Wellings hitting a hat-trick and Livvy Chance on target twice.

Hibernian condemned Hamilton to last place with a 4-0 away win over the Accies. All the goals came after the break from Colette Cavanagh, Amy Gallacher (2) and Rosie Livingstone but Gabby English had to make a save for Hibs after only six seconds of the match.

Spartans can no longer achieve a top-half finish, following their goalless draw at Partick Thistle.
