Aberdeen 5-1 Motherwell
Glasgow City 2-1 Hibernian
Hearts 2-4 Partick Thistle
Rangers 3-0 Celtic
Spartans 1-0 Hamilton Academical

Rangers remain top by two points after the victory against Celtic, who are now five points off the Champions league places and have played more games than the leading pair. Jane Ross netted in either half and Brogan Hay scored a timely goal soon after the interval, when blocking Olivia Chance’s attempted clearance.

Glasgow City had to come from behind to edge Hibernian 2-1 with a late penalty to keep up the pressure on Rangers, although they have played a game more than the leaders. Colette Cavanagh’s terrific volley for Hibs was cancelled out by Priscila Chinchilla’s header from a Tyler Dodds long ball, Lauren Davidson winning it from the spot on 85 minutes following a handball decision against the unfortunate Michaela McAlonie from a high-bouncing ball.

Aberdeen are up to fifth after a 5-1 beating of Motherwell but they also had to overcome a deficit, as Hayley Cunningham struck first. Chloe Gover levelled with a free kick, Loren Campbell and Francesca Ogilvie adding one apiece before a late brace by Bayley Hutchison.

Spartans got the only goal of the game with basement side Hamilton to climb to sixth spot, Alana Marshall netting from outside the box.

Partick moved three points above Hearts when defeating them 4-2 on their own patch. Aimee Anderson and Georgia Hunter found the net for Hearts in the first half, Linzi Taylor and Demi Falconer for Thistle, Cheryl McCulloch and  Teigan McCann then on target at either end of the second period.
