Rangers FC Women have signed midfielder Olivia McLoughlin from Aston Villa on a two-year deal, following her loan spell in the second half of last season.
The 19-year-old made 20 appearances for Jo Potter’s side, as they lifted both the Sky Sports and Scottish Cups.
McLoughlin told rangers.co.uk: “I’m really excited, I think the next few years are massive for me and to be joining a club like Rangers, I can’t wait to get going.
“Coming on loan here and enjoying it so much and playing and being a big part of the team, that has really helped my decision to stay.
“The factors of being so far away from home was playing on my mind, but when you are surrounded by good people in the team it makes it easier.”
Head coach, Jo Potter added: “Liv was someone who has already shown the Rangers fans her quality on the park and one we were determined to keep hold of.
“I am delighted she has bought into everything we are trying to achieve and she wants to be part of that journey.
“Liv is someone who fitted seamlessly into the squad and we believe she will only get stronger as she matures and develops.
“We are thrilled Liv sees her future with Rangers and she is someone I feel will be a huge asset to the squad moving forward.”
