New Zealand will face Fiji in the Oceania Women’s Nations Cup final on Saturday, with the Football Ferns clear favourites to win the tournament and secure a place at the World Cup.

The pair met in their last group game when New Zealand stormed to a 10-0 victory.

Hosts New Caledonia were sent to an 8-0 defeat by New Zealand in today’s semi-finals, with Emma Rolston hitting a hat-trick.

Papua New Guinea had finished runners-up for the last three tournaments but Fiji came from behind to beat them 5-1 and make it to their first ever final, as Trina Davis bagged a brace.

PNG play New Caledonia in the third place match.
