Former Linfield and Blackburn Rovers goalkeeper Lauren Perry has joined Scottish Women’s Premier League side Forfar Farmington, subject to international clearance.

The 20 year old, who has made six appearances for Northern Ireland, marked her senior debut by winning Player of the Match against Norway, while also gaining Champions League experience with Linfield.

Head Coach Ryan McConville told forfarfarmington.com:“I am delighted to finish off our recruitment drive with such a talented signing, Lauren is a GK with so much talent and experience for such a young player, she is a fantastic shot stopper and is a real modern day GK good with her feet.

“We have already one of the best keepers in the country in Fiona McNicoll and a great up and coming goalkeeper in Beth Mowatt. Lauren adds to the quality in this department and now our squad has strength and depth all over the park. I can’t wait to welcome her to Station Park.”
