Sheffield United Women have signed versatile defender Nat Johnson, who leaves Leicester City after making over 100 appearances in two spells.
The 26-year-old spent four years at college in South Carolina before returning to the Foxes in 2016, and going on to gain her first cap for Northern Ireland in March 2019.
Johnson told sufc.co.uk: “I’ve had a really good first few weeks, I’ve really enjoyed it. It’s been so welcoming which has been great and I’m buzzing to be a part of the club.
“For me it was about seeing how competitive the team was last season and what a hard-working, professional group they are and I wanted to be a part of that.”
