The hosts made it two wins from two at the Tournoi de France after coming from behind to defeat Brazil 2-1.

France has beaten Finland 5-0 in their opening game but were behind to Brazil, Marta celebrating her 36th birthday by converting a penalty inside the first 20 minutes.

Marie-Antoinette Katoto equalised just four minutes later when Kheira Hamraoui’s deflected and looping shot was missed by goalkeeper Leticia.

The 12,050 crowd at the Ornano stadium saw Leticia do much better in denying Sandie Toletti but just before the hour mark, Katoto turned home a cross from close-range to win the match.

The Netherlands put out a youthful starting eleven against Iceland but were two up at the break, through Caitlin Dijkstra and Katja Snoeijs, the second from a great cross by Samantha van Diemen.

Snoeijs whipped in her second of the evening early in the second half, being first to a loose ball in the box.
