The Tournoi de France was won by the host nation following a 3-1 defeat of the Netherlands in the final game.

France were on their way to a third straight win at the tournament, as Wendie Renard’s 20th-minute penalty was soon added to by Marie-Antoinette Katoto.

Lineth Beerensteyn halved the deficit five minutes after the interval but Katoto sealed the win with her second goal a quarter of an hour to play.

France finished top by five points from the second-placed Dutch.

Finland earlier registered a first point of the tournament when holding Brazil to a goalless draw, despite having five shots compared with the Brazilians’ 26.
