Manchester City are into the UEFA Women’s Champions League Round of 16 following a 3-0 win over Göteborg, giving a 5-1 aggregate score.

Lauren Hemp added to the first-leg advantage on 36 minutes, cutting inside before thumping the ball over goalkeeper Jennifer Falk and into the back of the net.

Sam Mewis was denied by the post and Alex Greenwood almost caught Falk off her line from distance.

Ellie Roebuck stopped Vilde Boe Rise’s volley, before Georgia Stanway netted twice when following up efforts from Ellen White.
