London City Lionesses have signed versatile wide player Chantelle Boye-Hlorkah on a one-year contract following her departure from Aston Villa.
The 27-uear-old joins the Championship side with the experience of playing a total of 79 times in the Barclays Women’s Super League, during spells at Everton and Villa.
Boye-Hlorkah told londoncitylionesses.com: “The opportunity to strive with a team and create something special from the start is massive for me.
“After speaking to the manager and the assistant, the ambition to compete at the highest level really attracted me to the club. I’m excited about the chance to earn game time and learn.”
Head Coach Carolina Morace added: “Chantelle is a technical player who can play in a number of roles. She likes to play with the ball, which is important and will help us develop our game.
“It’s good for the team to have her with us [because] she has the experience that we need and can be role model for the other players.”
