Liverpool Ladies have completed the signing of Belgian international winger Yana Daniels from Bristol City Women.
The Reds say that 26-year-old Daniels joins to strengthen their attacking options ahead of the 2018-2019 FA Women’s Super League.
She is Liverpool’s second signing from Bristol City this week, following the transfer of defender Jasmine Matthews.
Daniels, who can also play as a striker, came through the youth setup at Oud-Heverlee Leuven before spells with Lierse, FC Twente and Anderlecht.
On moving to Liverpool Ladies, Daniels said: “This is a great move for me and I am really looking forward to working alongside Neil [Redfearn] and the players. The squad here as big potential and I am really confident that we will have a successful season this year.
“Once I heard of the interest from Liverpool Ladies, there was only one club that I wanted to sign for and I cannot wait to get started.”
Speaking on the signing of Daniels, Liverpool Ladies manager Neil Redfearn said: “This is another great signing for the club. Yana will give us more options in the final third and I am really confident that she will become a real fans’ favourite.
“Yana is a hard working winger whose versatility to also play up front gives us far more attacking options as we look to add more goals to the team.”
