England forward Karen Carney has withdrawn from the Lionesses squad for their 2019 FIFA Women’s World Cup qualifier against Kazakhstan, after picking up an injury in training.

Carney hasn’t travelled with the rest of the squad to Colchester ahead of the game, which will be played at the Weston Homes Community Stadium on Tuesday 28 November (7.05pm KO).

England have a perfect record in their Group 1 campaign so far after beating Russia 6-0 in September and Bosnia & Herzegova by 4-0 on Friday.

The match is live on BBC Two and BBC Radio 5Live Sports Extra.
