The Football Association has announced the match officials for the 2018 SSE Women’s FA Cup Final.
Durham FA’s Lindsey Robinson has been appointed as referee for the showpiece fixture in the women’s domestic calendar between Arsenal and Chelsea on Saturday 5 May. Lindsey will be joined by assistant referees Stacey Pearson [Somerset FA] and Kirsty Dowle [Kent FA] as well as fourth official Helen Byrne [Liverpool FA].
Lindsey has been an assistant referee in a Women’s FA Cup Final on two separate occasions. A regular official across the Women’s Premier League and Women’s Super League, Lindsey is also the Referee Development Officer for Northumberland FA.
Lindsey Robinson said: “It’s a great honour to be asked to referee the Cup Final. I’m coming up to my tenth year as a match official so it’s a nice way to mark my anniversary. I’m privileged to have been given the opportunity.”

The SSE Women’s FA Cup Final is taking place at Wembley Stadium connected by EE on Saturday 5 May, kick off 5.30pm. Tickets for the 2018 SSE Women’s FA Cup Final are available to purchase at www.thefa.com/tickets with kids going free.
