Leicester City Women’s manager Lydia Bedford extends her stay at the King Power Stadium until 2024 with a new contract.
Following her appointment midway through last season, the Foxes had two crucial victories against Birmingham City, as well as defeating both Brighton and West Ham, in securing a second term in the Barclays Women’s Super League.
Bedford told lcfc.com: “I have enjoyed every moment of my time at Leicester so far and I’m grateful to the club for their continued support and belief in what we’re trying to achieve.
“This is an exciting place to be right now, as the club continues its investment in the women’s game. I am looking forward to the season starting and believe we are creating an environment that allows players to thrive.
