New Zealand international left back CJ Bott has joined Leicester City Women from Norwegian top-tier side Vålerenga.

Bott joined the Toppserien outfit in 2020, having earlier had a couple of years in Sweden with Vittsjö GIK.

She has over 30 senior caps for her country, played at both the 2015 and 2019 FIFA Women’s World Cups

The 26-year-old told LCFC TV: “It feels amazing. It’s been a long road to get here but it’s so great to finally be here and get amongst things and meet everyone. It’s awesome, so I’m happy now.”

Meanwhile, Foxes’ Lydia Bedford has received the Barclays FA WSL February Manager of the Month award following wins over Birmingham City and West Ham.
