Leicester City Women have acquired the services of striker Jess Sigsworth, who spent the last three seasons with Manchester United.

The 26-year-old played 66 times for the Reds, scoring 26 goals and has played for England up to U-23 level.

Speaking to LCFC TV, Sigsworth said: “I’m absolutely delighted. It’s a club with a massive ambition, they did extremely well in the Championship and I’m really excited and looking forward to being a part of this journey now.

“I spoke with the manager [Jonathan Morgan] quite a bit before coming and the ambitions, the drive, the way this club wants to be, it’s everything that I want to be a part of.”
