Brighton & Hove Albion Women have signed striker Lee Geum-min on a permanent basis, following her season-long loan from Manchester City.

The South Korean, who has over 40 caps for her country, made 18 appearances for Brighton last season, scoring three goals.

One of the 27-year-old’s efforts, a long-range strike against Reading, won Albion’s Goal of the Season award.

Head coach Hope Powell told brightonandhovealbion.com: “We’re delighted to welcome Lee to the club on a permanent basis.

“I felt she got better as the season wore on and finished it really strongly.

“I do think she can get even better and I’m looking forward to working with her this season.”
