Lee Burch becomes London Bees boss

London Bees have announced that Lee Burch, who managed Yeovil Town Ladies last term, will be taking over as Head Coach ahead of the 2019/20 FA Women’s Championship season.

Speaking on his appointment, Burch told londonbeeswsl.com: “I’m really pleased and excited to be joining London Bees. The club has impressed me and the facilities are second-to-none.

“It’s an excellent opportunity for me personally and I can’t wait to get started.

“The FA Women’s Championship is a great league and I’m looking forward to working with the staff and players.”

Ricky Bartlett, General Manager of London Bees, is confident that Burch’s appointment will have the Bees contesting for promotion next season.

He said: “We’re delighted to have Lee on board.

“His enthusiasm for the project was apparent and I’m sure he can bring success back to London Bees.”
