Newly-rebranded Crystal Palace FC Women have signed Leeta Rutherford and Amy Goddard.

Having previously represented Millwall and Brighton & Hove Albion, the versatile Rutherford joins from fellow Championship side Lewes.

Goddard moves to Palace after a year with Yeovil Town in the WSL, in which the centre-back made 14 appearances.

Palace Manager, Dean Davenport, told cpfc.co.uk: “We are delighted to welcome both girls to the Palace family and believe they will be a strong addition to our team this season. Exciting times ahead.”

Meanwhile, Leesa Haydock has followed Pam McRoberts in announcing her departure from the Eagles, the latter expecting her second child in September.
