Coventry United have signed two-time FA Women’s Championship golden boot winner and 2020/21 player of the season, Katie Wilkinson.

Manager, Jay Bradford spoke highly of the new signing, telling culfc-media.co.uk: “I’m obviously ecstatic to get this deal done.

“Wilko is a force in this league and someone I cant wait to work with to drive this club forward.”

The 26-year-old, who had been at Sheffield United for the past two seasons and previously had spells at Birmingham City, Aston Villa and London Bees, joins on a two year contract from the 1 July.

Wilkinson scored an impressive 20 goals in all competitions last term, also winning goal of the season for 2020/21 campaign.
