Joe Montemurro has been confirmed as Juventus Women’s new head coach after calling time on his spell with Arsenal.

The 51-year-old, who will take charge of the Bianconere from 1 July, had been with the Gunners since November 2017, where he soon won the Continental League Cup, later leading Arsenal to their first WSL title in seven years.

He now joins a Juve side that has won four straight Serie A titles but not gone beyond the UEFA Women’s Champions League Round of 32 in that time.
