The forthcoming season sees Coventry United with a new ground, additional training and a girls’ academy.
Coventry finished second only to Spurs in the FA Premier League last team and say they have been working very hard in the off season, making some significant changes to ensure they are challenging for promotion to the WSL.
Training has been increased to three times per week, which includes a strength & conditioning session with specialist coach Erika Mole, while all players will have individual programmes with nutritional advice throughout the season.
The 3,000 all-seater Butts Park Arena – which is situated right in the city centre and accommodates Coventry Bears RLFC – will also host all Coventry United FC and CULFC home fixtures.
Another step forward is the introduction of a girls’ academy for 16-18 year-olds, which will start later this year alongside the new partnership between CUFC and The University of Warwick.
Jade Ogle, CULFC Marketing Director, stated on coventryunitedlfc.co.uk:
“All of these developments within Coventry United Ladies Football Club are to ensure that the public know how committed, passionate and professional all of us are about winning the league this year and enhancing all aspects of CULFC.”
