Republic of Ireland were 6-0 winners away to Georgia in their UEFA Women’s Euro 2025 qualifying play-off 1st leg.
There was just the one goal in it at half time, after a handball decision against the hosts’ Natia Danelia on 34 minutes led to Katie McCabe converting from the penalty spot.
Kyra Carusa doubled the lead from an Abbie Larkin cross, then eight minutes later McCabe found the net with a long-range effort.
McCabe turned provider for a close-range finish from Jessie Stapleton, Marissa Sheva making it five deep into added time but there was still tile for Aoife Mannion to also add her name to the scoresheet and McCabe claim another assist.
