Everton Women have signed exciting 20-year-old forward Jess Park on a season-long loan from Manchester City.
Park said discussions with Everton manager Sorensen were a key factor in deciding to join the Toffees on loan.
She told told evertontv: “I’ve had a few conversations with Brian and after each one I have been left really impressed.
“I’m an attacking player who likes to get the ball at my feet and run at players.
“I like to play with freedom, assist, score goals. Hopefully I can bring that to the team.”
Sorensen admired both the quality and personality Park possesses and is looking forward to working with her in the season ahead.
“I’m really pleased we could reach an agreement to bring Jess to the club.
“She’s a top player and I’m glad we can help her develop even further over the course of this season.
“Her dribbling and passing are excellent. She understands the game well and she works incredibly hard.
“She can play both inside and outside on either wing. That flexibility is great for us.”
