Brazil stand between Great Britain and the bronze medal at the 2017 Deaflympics in Turkey, when the teams meet in the placement match on Friday, 28th July.
Playing on alternate days, GB began with a 2-0 loss to Poland, the second goal not coming until deep into added time.
The second match was a 1-1 draw with the Brazilians, Lara Nevez’s first half goal cancelled out early in the second half by Claire Stancliffe.
A 56th-minute penalty saw the British beaten by Russia and although they next fell behind to Turkey on Monday, GB hit back well for a 4-1 victory.
Swiftly level with an own-goal, Helen O’Brien then had GB 2-1 up on 12 minutes, with Ceara Toal and April Malin adding one each after the interval.
Finishing the group games on a high, GB hit China for six to seal a place in the bronze medal match.
Olivia Preston, Victoria Briden and Grace Leavett all scored in the first half, with Preston then doubling her tally, before Stancliffe and Toal got on the scoresheet.
Substitutes: Emma Brown, Debbie Hibbett, Jennifer Evans, Ceara Toal, Mandy Tobin, Molly Ripley
Friday’s other play-off matches see Poland play Russia for the gold medal, while Turkey and China contest 5th place.
