France beat Austria to reach the 2022 UEFA Women’s Euros and Spain went top of their qualifying group.

A Wendie Renard opener was followed by a Marie-Antoinette Katoto double, as France clinched top spot in Group G with the first three goals Austria had conceded.
Russia secured the runners-up place for Group A with three goals in the first dozen minutes against Kosovo.
Northern Ireland are one win from a play-off place after edging Belarus 3-2 with an own-goal. Anastasiya Schcherbachenya had cancelled out a Kirsty McGuinness opener and Rachel Furness penalty, before McGuinness’s strike went in off keeper Nataliya Voskobovich.
Spain thrashed Moldova 10-0 to ensure a top-two finish and will qualify if they avoid defeat by Poland on Tuesday. A late penalty sealed Jennifer Hermoso’s hat-trick.
Portugal defeated Scotland with a 69th-minute Ana Borges goal, putting them level on points with group leaders Finland.
Iceland trail Group F leaders Sweden by three points and a large margin in goal-difference but their 3-1 win in Slovakia made sure of at least second spot. They had been losing until the game changed with three goals in 16 second-half minutes. Berglind Thorvaldsdóttir’s leveller was followed by a brace of penalties from Sara Bjork Gunnarsdóttir.
Laura Freigang hit a 24-minute first-half hat-trick as Group I winners Germany put six past Greece.
