French international goalkeeper Sarah Bouhaddi has confirmed she is leaving European champions Lyon after 11 years at the club.

Bouhaddi has won the Champions League six times with Olympique Lyonnais, plus ten domestic league titles and the Coupe de France Feminine on seven occasions.

Well in excess of 150 appearances for the club, Bouhaddi is currently one short of that landmark for the national team.

The 33-year-old could be on her way to the NWSL alongside teammate Dzsenifer Marozsan but in an interview with Progrès, OL President Jean-Michel Aulas said he would not give up on retaining both players as the US league was also currently suspended.
