The FA Women’s National League Cup semi-finals saw Nottingham Forest defeat Portsmouth and Watford win against Wolves.

League Cup Semi-Finals

Nottingham Forest 5-0 Portsmouth (Att: 429)
Watford 2-0 Wolverhampton Wanderers (Att: 266)

Becky Anderson bagged a brace for Forest, Olivia Cook, Charlotte Greengrass and Mai Moncaster with one apiece. Watford won through to the final on Sunday 23 April at Burton Albion FC, with first-half goals from Andria Georgiou and Faye Brough on her first start.

Northern Premier Division

Burnley 5-1 Boldmere St Michaels (Att: 111)
Derby County 2-1 Huddersfield Town (Att: 272)
Liverpool Feds 2-1 West Bromwich Albion (Att: 65)
Stoke City 3-0 Loughborough Lightning

Burnley sealed victory over Boldmere with three goals after the break, to go second in the table. Derby County extended their winning run to six games thanks to a late goal by substitute Camille Jenkins.

Southern Premier Division

Oxford United and Ipswich Town overtook Portsmouth to go first and second respectively. Carly Johns and Daisy McLachlan both scored hat-tricks for the U’s, Anna Grey got two of Town’s three.

Stourbridge downed Doncaster with second-half goals from Mil Rogers and Alex Nicklin, to move three points clear of them at the top. Northampton defeated third-placed Sporting Khalsa in front of their record crowd of over 1,000 at Sixfields Stadium.

Leaders Durham Cestria won 2-0 away, Faye Dale and Poppy Pritchard with a goal and an assist each.Second-placed Newcastle beat Leeds by the same score hand as Kacie Elson struck twice.

Hashtag held top spot when defeating Norwich 4-1, a scoreline matched by second-placed Wimbledon against Chesham at Plough Lane.

Exeter City remained four points ahead of Cardiff City Ladies in the title race but from two games more. The  Grecians got four goals at Larkhall, Cardiff saw off third-placed Bournemouth.
