Central Girls FA Wasps put 8 goals past Falkirk FC to remain 4 points clear of Dundee United at the top of SWFL 1 North, who themselves thrashed Dee Ladies 11-2. Dunfermline Athletic went level on points with third-placed Granite City after defeating them 5-3 and goal-difference ahead of Inverness City, who had gone down 5-2 at home to Aberdeen U-23s. Westdyke Dee Vale stay winless with a 7-0 home reverse by Stirling University Development.
Kilmarnock’s 5-0 result over Cumbernauld Colts put them 10 points clear of Hibernian Development in 1 South, as Celtic Academy were held 1-1 at Boroughmuir Thistle and Renfrew lost 4-2 at Thistle Weir. Rangers Development leapfrogged Westerlands into seventh place when beating them 5-2, while Queens Park sent Hearts Development to a thirteenth straight defeat with a 4-0 scoreline.
Buchan Youth gain on Deveronvale
Buchan Youth moved to within 5 points of 2 North leaders Deveronvale when posting a 5-3 victory over Ross County but Stonehaven in third lost a seven-goal thriller to visitors Turriff United. Buckie are 8 points adrift having lost the basement battle with Moray 4-1.
Ayr hold leaders
Morton are 5 points ahead of Dumbarton United in the two-horse SWFL 2 West title race, after being held 1-1 by Ayr United. Third-placed Kilwinning crashed 7-0 at Kilmarnock U-23, Bishopston could not take advantage as they lost 4-3 to Rutherglen and Queen of the South kept Pollok United stuck on a single point with a 7-3 result over them.
Blackburn-Airdrie battle
2 Central’s promotion race is dominated by Blackburn United and Airdrie, who had a 4-0 win over Glasgow Girls Development and 12-0 rout of East Kilbride respectively. Hamilton Academical Development are up to third with a 3-1 win against Broxburn Athletic, Linlithgow Rose and Cumbernauld Colts Development ended all square at 1-1, as did Stenhousemuir and Motherwell Development, Hawick United still bottom after the 2-1 defeat by Murieston United.
Advantage Bayside
Raith Rovers are 3 points short of 2 East top team Bayside from a game more, having had to settle for a point in a 2-2 draw at Dundee City. Edinburgh Caledonia eased to an 8-0 victory at East Fife Violets and Montrose moved up 2 places to sixth by winning 8-2 at Edunburgh South.
