Midlands Division 1 – Bedworth overtake Wolves

Bedworth went second ahead of Wolves in the Midlands table but had to settle for a 3-3 draw against visitors Sporting Khalsa. Amanda Whalley, Shanice Walsh and Kirsty Farnsworth were on target for United.

Burton are still a point behind eight-placed TNS following a 2-2 tie that featured three red cards. An Emily Ridge goal and Laura Morris penalty had the Saints two up at half-time but they had Taylor Davis and Sarah Parkes both dismissed. Albion’s Jordan Atkin and Paris O’Connor replied before the hour mark but the latter was also sent off.

Northern Division 1 – Brighouse go second

Brighouse got the point they needed against Morecambe to go second in the Northern table, substitute Lauren Doyle levelling 6 minutes into the second half.

Barnsley could have potentially taken that position but they were goalless at home by Newcastle, who are now fifth.

Norton sent Crewe to a twelfth defeat on the run, Maddy Atkinson with a treble after the Alex went in level 1-1 at half-time with a Beth Coppin goal.

South East Division 1 – Actonians come from behind to defeat Denham

Actonians defeated fellow Middlesex side Denham 5-1 in South East Division 1, after Holly Nicholls gave United the lead. Alessandra Barreca turned the game around by scoring twice in an eight-minute spell, Enya Collins and Sara Lopez Ezzahiri adding one each just before the interval and Sharon Odofin completed their scoring on 53 minutes.

South West Division 1 – Chesham climb to fourth

Chesham went fourth in the South West table with all five goals at Swindon. Gemma Fraser and Emma Delves struck towards the midway point, with goals by Gemma Darvill, a second for Fraser and one for Emma Bebbington in the last 20 minutes.

Poole pushed up to ninth with a 3-1 over Maidenhead, set up by goals moments apart from Kristine Birmes and Samantha Gubb midway through the first period, before Hollie Agombar came off the bench to add a late third.

League Plate – Stevenage into quarter-finals

Stevenage avenged last week’s league defeat at home to Ipswich by knocking them out of the Plate on their travels. Natasha Thomas put Town in front but Ashleigh Deacon equalised at the death and Ellie Searle grabbed the extra-time winner.
