FAWNL Cup: Four-goal fightback by Foxes
Loughborough Foxes fought back from three down to win 4-3 after extra-time at Cardiff. City had struck three times in a 14-minute spell straddling the interval but a Becky Matlock reply was added to by Shauna Chambers and Laura Dexter in the last 10 minutes of normal time, before Rebecca Knight notched a 92nd-minute decider.
Cup holders Blackburn had to come from a goal down to defeat Sunderland 3-1 and reach the quarter-finals. Emily Hutchinson’s opener was cancelled out by Saffron Jordan before Natasha Flint struck twice.
Huddersfield hit Nottingham Forest 4-1, with Lucy Sowerby scoring in each half, Katie Middleton levelling on half-time, only for Brittany Sanderson and Kate Mallin to also net for the Terriers.
AFC Wimbledon eliminated Cambridge United as Caroline Bisson and Jenny Nagle struck in the space of 3 minutes for a 2-0 interval lead.
Leeds bowed out 6-3 at Stoke but Katie Thompson scored for them after just 5 minutes before the Potters built a 4-1 lead. Bethanie Davies came off the bench to quickly bag a brace for United but Ashleigh Hayes and Amy Hughes struck to ensure City progressed.
FAWNL Plate: Barnsley net nine
MK Dons saw off Bedworth for a place in the last eight of the Plate, Leah Cudone scoring twice while Jessica Lundie was on target for United.
Morecambe made Middlesbrough work hard for their progress, which eventually came 3-2 after 120 minutes.
Gillingham ran out 5-0 winners over Chesham, as Sammy Booker struck three times.
Liverpool Feds put out Chester le Street thanks to a Demi Devereaux goal only 3 minutes in.
Barnsley rain in nine goals at TNS, with Melissa Woodhouse hitting a hat-trick and Amy Woodruff also among the goals with a double.
Keynsham cruised through 7-1 against Maidenhead, Justine Lorton getting on the scoresheet twice.

Doncaster went level on points with Sheffield FC, sending them to a 2-0 defeat with a double from Isabelle Whittle.

Southampton WFC went level on points with South West Division 1 leaders Keynsham with a 3-0 defeat of Larkhall.
Third-placed Cheltenham were held 2-2 at home by Brislington, whose Nush Rourke and Polly Wardle each levelled before half time in reply to efforts from Sally Butterfield and Georgia Brown.
Wolves sunk Long Eaton 7-0 to regain second spot in Midlands Division 1. Jade Cross and Billie Haines with two apiece. Fourth-placed Birmingham & West Midlands ran out 4-0 winners at fifth-placed Nettleham.
In South East Division 1, Norwich climbed two places to eighth with a 4-1 result over basement side Luton, the Canaries’ goals coming from Aimee Durrant, Kathryn Stanley, Abbie Tate and Rosie George
All other league games were postponed.
