Jade Arber scored two of Nottingham Forest’s six second-half goals at Hull which made them new leaders of the Northern Premier, after a goalless draw ended both Fylde and Wolves 100% record. Derby defeated Burnley 2-1 with Emily Joyce and Ellie Gilliat on target, Huddersfield got three goals after the break to seal the win at Loughborough. Middlesbrough jumped up to eighth with a 4-1 win over West Brom in which Lauren Robson got Boro’s first two goals, Sheffield FC also got off the mark with the only goal of the game against Stoke.
Southampton FC netted nine times past Gillingham to go top of the Southern Premier on goal-difference, from Ipswich Town, who also made it four straight wins with a single-goal success over Cardiff. Bridgwater’s 3-1 win over Crawley put them third above Portsmouth and Oxford, who ended all square at 1-1. Gabi Alphous struck twice in Plymouth’s fine 5-1 result at Keynsham, while
London Bees’ Lauren Heria levelled to cancel out Megan Fox’s opener for Chichester & Selsey.
Division 1 Midlands is still lead by Boldmere after they edged Holwell from Long Eaton and Lincoln, whom also posted narrow victories. Burton and Peterborough shared four goals, Leafield were 4-1 winners over Wem and Leek landed the points at Sporting Khalsa.
Newcastle and Liverpool Feds went first and second respectively in Division 1 North after 3-0 wins, the latter over morning leaders Chorley. Leeds got the only goal at Alnwick, Bradford put the first points in the bank when hosting Chester le Street, FC United came away from Barnsley 3-2 winners with an Ella Hartley double, having trailed 2-0.
Billericay stay goal-difference ahead of Hashtag United in Division 1 South East, Actonians won with a single goal at Stevenage. AFC Wimbledon won 4-1 at Cambridge City, a result matched by Enfield at Norwich, while Cambridge United sunk Harlow 6-0.
AFC Bournemouth’s Becki Bath hit a hat-trick as Larkhall were hit for six and the Cherries went top of Division 1 South West, while Portishead drew 3-3 with Chesham. Elsewhere, Buckland, Cheltenham and Southampton Women all won away from home.
