Derby County defeated Nottingham Forest in the FA Women’s National League, played in front of a bumper crowd at Pride Park.

There were five different scorers for Wolves at Sheffield FC, Derby edged the east midlands clash with Nottingham Forest at Pride Park as Sherry McCue converted from the spot. The visitors had a spot-kick of their own later, Megan Tinsley was sent off but Gianna Mitchell fired over the bar. Fylde got the only goal at Hull through Laura Merrin, Loughborough Lightning got out of the relegation zone at the expense of hosts Middlesbrough.

Leaders Ipswich saw off Plymouth, Southampton continued their chase with victory at Gillingham, Portsmouth went up two to sixth with the best of five goals at Keynsham, Cardiff sent Hounslow down while boosting their own survival hopes.

Hashtag United and Billericay Town both won 4-0 away, the former staying five points in front on the latter but having played two games more. Norwich City are on the verge of escaping the drop zone after defeating Cambridge City.
