#FAWC: Two fixtures for Sunday

FA Women's Championship advertising board at Maiden Castle

With a busy international programme beginning in midweek, there are just two games in the FA Women’s Championship this Sunday.

Sheffield United visit bottom of the table Charlton Athletic and a win for the Blades could send them second, while a victory for the Addicks might see them jump up four places.

Ninth-placed Coventry United entertain Blackburn Rovers in sixth, with the home side having this week signed Fran Orthodoxou from FA Women’s National League side West Bromwich Albion.

The midfielder made 60 appearances for the Baggies, scoring 10 goals and was an integral part of the 2018/19 double-winning season in which Albion were Division One Midlands champions and lifted the League Plate.

Coventry’s match will be shown live on their YouTube channel, while The FA Player will have full match replays from the 2pm kick-offs after the respective final whistles.
