Celtic hit hosts Hibernian 6-2 in Friday evening’s televised fixture, to go top of the SBS Scottish Women’s Premier League 1.
Jodie Bartle opened the scoring with a header from a Natalie Ross corner and although Anita Marcos was put through by Rachel Donaldson to double the lead, Hibs hit back with a Rachel Boyle penalty.
However, the Hoops ran away with the game by half-time, scoring three times in a ten-minute spell through Anita’s second, a long-range Lisa Robertson strike and one from Ross.
Charlotte Potts pulled one back for Hibernian early in the second half but Summer Green then swiftly completed the scoring from 25 yards.
Glasgow City can retake top spot when hosting basement side Hearts on Sunday (3pm), while elsewhere Forfar Farmington face Rangers live on BBC iPlayer / BBC Sport website at 2pm and Motherwell meet Spartans at 12:30pm.
