Everton Women have signed full-back Poppy Pattinson after the defender left Bristol City following the end of her contract.
Left-back Pattinson has agreed a two-year deal wit the Toffees after having spent the last two seasons with the Robins, for whom she played 25 times.
Pattinson wrote on Twitter: ‘Absolutely delighted to be joining @EvertonWomen A club with huge ambitions that match my own and I am excited to start the next chapter of my journey working together with this team.’
Also announced today as departing Bristol City is Frankie Brown, a Scotland international with 96 caps who made 77 league appearances over seven seasons with the club, only missing one of the last 34 games.
City Manager Tanya Oxtoby told bcfc.co.uk: “Our club has been privileged to have an individual of Frankie’s qualities on and off the pitch for over half a decade.
“She has been a fantastic role model for all of those around her, and I cannot speak highly enough of her as a person.”
