Everton have signed Danish international Kathrine Kuhl on loan from Arsenal for the remainder of the season.

The 20-year-old midfielder is reunited with manager Brian Sorensen, whose senior debut came when he was in charge at Nordsjaelland.

Kuhl told evertontv: “I’m really looking forward to this experience.

“My experience so far in the Women’s Super League has been really good. I feel I’ve learnt a lot having come from the Danish league to England. It’s a big step.

“Everton felt like a good opportunity for me to come and play alongside some really good players and hopefully gain some minutes.”

Sorensen told evertonfc.com: “I know Kathrine very well and I’m super happy to sign her because she’s quality.

“We worked together for two-and-a-half years, she’s a very mobile player, very dynamic, good on the ball.

“It’s a good loan agreement as we sign a player who has strengths with through balls, her dynamics and the hard work she does off the ball.

“Kathrine just wants to play football and we will give her the platform to do that here.”
