There were away wins on Saturday for both Everton and Manchester City in the Barclays Women’s Super League.

Tottenham Hotspur 0-3 Manchester City
Aston Villa 0-1 Everton

Everton got the only goal of the game at Aston Villa, to move level on points with the top three. Lucy Graham fired home on 57 minutes from Gabby George’s cross.

Laura Blindkilde had missed an earlier chance for Villa and when Graham was played in by Jess Park, her opportunity to double the lead was denied by keeper Anna Leat.

Manchester City finished the day in fifth place with a 3-0 win at Spurs, who had Ellie Brazil stretchered off in only the second minute.

Deyna Castellanos forced a save from Becky Spencer, before Khadija Shaw headed home an Alex Greenwood corner.

Ashleigh Neville fired a good opportunity wide as Tottenham tried to get back into the game but just two minutes after the interval, Shaw struck from outside the box into the bottom  corner.

With 14 minutes left, Hemp sealed the points for the visitors.
