Spain dramatically defeated Japan in the FIFA Women’s U-17 World Cup Quarter-Finals, while Colombia ended Tanzania’s adventure.

Japan were leading through Momoko Tanikawa’s goal midway through the second-half but there was a sting in the tail from Spain.

Vicky Lopez not only equalised with three minutes left of the 90, but also grabbed the winner three minutes into stoppage-time.

Tanzania had an impressive first finals but bowed out to three first-half goals against Colombia.

Linda Caicedo scored after just three minutes, Yesica Munoz doubled the lead and Gabriella Rodriguez converted a penalty.

The semi-final line up for Wednesday 26 October sees Nigeria clash with Colombia at 12 noon (UK time), before Germany play Spain at 3.30pm. Both ties will be streamed live on FIFA+.
