A veteran of over 100 Lionesses games, Eniola Aluko will end an 18-month spell with Juventus next weekend and look to continue her career in England.
Her final game for the reigning Serie A champions is against title rivals Fiorentina on 30 November.
“I have come to the difficult decision to leave Juventus in December and I want to share some words from my heart,” she wrote in an official letter to juventus.com. “After winning the Supercoppa recently, I felt a sense of great completion with my time at Juventus, after also winning the Coppa Italia and Scudetto.”
The 32-year-old, who has previously had two spells with both Birmingham City and Chelsea, won three medals whilst at Juve and scored a total of 15 goals in Serie A.
Aluko said in an interview with The Guardian that she was “excited to be moving back to London, and back into women’s football in England at a time when there are a lot of exciting opportunities.”
