England’s next generation are preparing for action again with two WU23 fixtures confirmed against the Netherlands during a warm-weather camp in Spain.
Mo Marley will take a 24-player squad to the Pinatar Arena in Murcia for the matches against the Dutch on Friday 8 April, kick-off 3pm BST, and Monday 11 April, kick-off 11am BST.
Marley said: “We are really pleased to have lined up these two games against strong opposition. Every time we play it is a chance for the players to show what they can do and continue their development – while also building those close connections you need with team-mates on and off the pitch as you come through the pathway.”
In February, the Young Lionesses played a double-header away to France, drawing 1-1 after a 3-2 defeat. Ebony Salmon scored in both games, while Missy Bo Kearns was also on target in the first fixture.
